Abstract:
By interpreting the Landau-Lifshitz equation as the exact equation which describes the motion of a point charged particle in Classical Electrodynamics, we generalize the result to General Relativity. Comparisons with DeWitt-Brehme, Hobbs and Quinn-Wald results are made leading us to a discussion about the applicability of the Principle of Equivalence and its consequences in General relativity. |
