Prof. Eliot Quataert (astronomy) will
lead the CMPD effort to reach out to the astrophysics community.
Prof. Quataert is a leader in plasma astrophysics, with strong
interests in kinetic plasma effects, especially as they relate to
heating and particle acceleration physics.
