Additional hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn and Marriott at a discounted rate may still be available for Hyp2008. Please contact Globetrotter Travel Agency for more information and to check availability.
Due to the strong demand for hotels in the College Park area, we urge all of
the participants to make their hotel reservations as soon as possible.
There are three types of accommodations available near College Park:
(1) Simple motels with reasonable prices within 1/2 mile to 1 mile of College
Park
(2) Higher priced hotels located more toward downtown D.C.
or Bethesda M.D., further away from campus (2 miles)
(3) Special, economical accomodations (including motel, rooming house, and University dormitories)

This is a rooming house. Rooms are available by the night ($55-$65 / single-double) or by the week ($215-$260 / single-double). 8 bedrooms share 2 bathrooms. Each room has a mini refrigerator; a microwave and coffeepot are in the hall. Children are not allowed. Credit cards are not accepted.
Dormitories
There are a limited number of spaces available in
University of Maryland dormitories (University
student housing, open to all HYP2008 participants)
