Outline:
- Measuring the shapes of free surfaces of granular flows.
- Imaging the inside of granular materials with x-ray techniques.
- 3D imaging of granular flows using index matching and laser sheet scanning. We will review available materials that allow for 3D imaging and highlight methods to extract particle position and flow information.
