Congratulations to Anıl Zenginoğlu who has just been appointed Assistant Research Scientist in CSCAMM. Anıls distinguished scientific achievements and his technical expertise will help further develop CSCAMMs scientific computing activities.
CSCAMM welcomes, as a new Brin postdoctoral fellow,
who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
who defended his PhD thesis on
Mixing, Flocking and Cooperation: Analytical studies of Transport Phenomena in Biology
and accepted a 3-year offer as a William W. Elliott Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Duke University.
CSCAMM welcomes, as a new postdoctoral fellow, Dong Dong who graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Congratulations to Professor
for being selected for the Outstanding Director of Graduate Studies (DGS) Award for 2018.
CSCAMM welcomes Assistant Professor Lise-Marie Imbert-Gérard as a
new CSCAMM faculty member with a joint appointment in the Department
of Mathematics and IPST beginning in January 2018.
Prof. Imbert-Gérard's research focuses on
scientific computing and the numerical analysis of time-harmonic
waves in variable media such as plasmas.
CSCAMM welcomes, as a new postdoctoral fellow, Jan Peszek, who comes
to us from the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Prof. Radu Balan will give a presentation on "When Harmonic Analysis
Meets Machine Learning: Lipschitz Analysis of Deep Convolution
Networks" on October 10th 2017, sponsored by the IEEE Computational
Intelligence Society and the Signal Processing Society. Follow
